Sherry Anne Lints
Singing, Speaking, Acting...
A native of Utica, New York, Sherry Anne is a Doctor of Chiropractic and a certified fitness trainer. She currently owns and operates Better Health Chiropractic in Upstate, New York and is involved in many fitness/wellness events throughout the region. With a Chiropractic license in 3 states, "Dr. Sherry" has had the privilege of meeting and working with a variety of people, from artists in the recording industry, to fitness professionals and even Hollywood celebrities.
Born with a bilateral hearing and speech impairment, she has a special ministry and love for individuals with disabilities. Frequently, she lectures at elementary schools, vocational schools, colleges and has been a regular speaker for the “Dare, Dream Do” program, a positive outreach to inner city children. A member of multiple organizations, such as the Chiropractic Performing Arts Network, International Sports Sciences Association, and the historic Uptown Theatre, Sherry Anne is also an advisor for the Utica College Committee for Health Professions.
One of Sherry's greatest passions is sharing her love of music and drama in churches, coffeehouses, women's conferences, youth retreats, seminars and other venues. It is her true desire to minister, worldwide, the message of God’s unconditional love and forgiveness. In the fall of 2008, she released her debut album, Thank You, and is currenty, working on a second ablum with producer Gordon Mote, as well as leading worship and drama at her church.
Her powerful testimony of overcoming can be seen on 100 Huntley Street (Crossroads TV, Ontario, Canada) as well as in the book, Modern-Day Miracles, for which she is a contributing author. She has appeared in the Christian films: Clancy and The Perfect Gift (Kelly's Filmworks) and is planning future television appearances.
Sherry Anne's rich, emotive voice, and unique way of expressing songs, enabled her to sing for: The Booth Brothers, Sara Groves, Gordon Mote, The Martins, Lynda Randle's televised Feed the Children Christmas Special with The Wilmington Celebration Choir, and music events such as GMA in the Rockies at Café Estes, Colorado and the Stamps-Baxter School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee.
An active leader in both her church and community, and winner of the Accent on Excellence Award 2009, Sherry Anne welcomes the opportunity to minister on a variety of topics to see lives changed for eternity by the tangible presence of God.
